Terms & Conditions

Payments:

  • Due to the various bespoke services and packages we offer, payment terms will be dependent on the support you require. We will always require an upfront fee which will either be full payment upfront or a %. Final payments must be paid 14 days from receiving our invoice.

  • Initial fees are not refundable.

  • Subject to the project, mileage costs may apply and will be communicated to you.

  • All payments will be by bank transfer in GBP - we are currently not VAT registered.

  • Third party platforms will be used i.e MailChimp, SquareSpace, Facebook, Instagram - all subscriptions will be set up and paid-for directly by clients, not through BA1 Studios.

  • If full payment is not received within a reasonable period, ownership of any content remains with BA1 Studios.

Project Contracts:

  • Each project/client will receive a contract. Projects will not commence until a signed contract and an agreed upfront payment is received.

  • Specific cancellation terms will be stated in the contract.

  • All agreed timelines or delivery dates are best estimates but we will endeavour to try and achieve them.

  • Clients will be expected to provide any information required to fulfil the contract in a reasonable time period, if not timelines and potential costing will be reviewed.

  • No content will be published externally without mutual approval.

Cancellation:

  • Projects on a monthly retainer must give a 4 week notice of cancellation.

  • Specific cancellation terms will be stated in the project contract.

Liability:

  • BA1 Studios is not liable for any breach of copyright or ownership of contents supplied by the client

  • The client will be responsible for meeting GDPR requirements

  • BA1 Studios will not be held responsible for the validity of the information supplied by the client.

  • Clients will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of their employees and any third party contractors.

  • Clients will be responsible for the third party subscriptions/licenses used and ensuring t&c’s are met.

  • BA1 Studios will not be held responsible for any cyber security in relation to websites or social media.

  • Clients are held responsible for the management and maintenance of their websites built by BA1 Studios.

Sharing your personal information:

  • We will only share your personal business information with third parties if it is required to deliver the best possible service to you.

  • We will also use your personal information via Google Analytics in order to understand how our customers use our site.

  • We may need to share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
